‘Game of Thrones’: While you wait for season 4, enjoy Emilia Clarke highlights!

We know that the wait for “Game of Thrones” season 4 is a long one, and we want to do more for you than “spoil” things from the books … mostly because anyone who wants to know what happens can go read them. Instead, why not check out some of what one of the stars in Emilia Clarke is up to during her time not filming the show?

Clark is starring in the upcoming film “Spike Island,” and you better be prepared for a completely different side of her. In this project, she is taking a part in a film all about teens’ attempts to get into a Stone Roses concert back in 1990s. If you love the rock music of the time, this is going to be a movie that you’ll love to see. Even if you’re not a fan of the music, maybe you want to see Clarke rock out with a completely different look, anyway.

As for what Clarke has coming up during the summer, there are some more films on her roster, even if she is not involved in some of those big projects that you see her constantly linked to. (Those “50 Shades of Grey” rumors are mostly constructed by bloggers desperate for hits, especially since they just now hired the director.) She was featured in “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” earlier this spring, but the project closed early after poor sales and negative reviews.

Clarke, like many of the other “Game of Thrones” actors, will see the start of production take place at some point next month. It’s possible that she will film some in the Northern Ireland sound-stages; her on-location work will likely happen later based on past precedents.
