NBC’s ‘The Voice’ finale: Watch Cher perform ‘Woman’s World’ (video)

The VoiceTuesday night’s season finale of “The Voice” did more than just crown a winner in Danielle Bradbery, it also brought us something that we haven’t seen on TV in over a decade: A live performance from Cher performing a new song.

The song performed was “Woman’s World,” which is sure to at least receive a healthy amount of downloads in the next week. The legendary entertainer chose to use the show as a platform to launch the song, and the show also hyped it up relentlessly before it happened. As for whether or not you actually liked the song, that is an entirely different story. There are probably millions of you out there who couldn’t stand it, and probably feel as though Cher really should have hung up her famous (and rather garish) outfits quite a long time ago. On the flip side, you were probably rocking to this song like nobody’s business if you’ve spent the past several decades with her CD’s playing on repeat.

One thing that we can say for sure is the entire audience was completely into the performance. Even for some of the coaches, it must have been an honor getting to see a legend perform. It’s the sort of performance that you rarely get to see anymore, regardless of whether or not it is on TV.

What did you think about Cher’s performance on “The Voice” finale? Did you find it satisfying, or just downright strange and too “out there” for your liking? You can check out the video below, and also, be sure to visit the link here to read even more news pertaining to the finale.
