2013 MMVAs red carpet: Taylor Swift, Lucy Hale, Demi Lovato, Phillip Phillips, and more

If you love awards shows, then you’ve come to the right place since we are covering not only the Daytime Emmy Awards airing on HLN, but also the MuchMusic’s annual MMVAs straight from downtown Toronto.

While we will have a few other assorted highlights from the show a little later in the evening, the focus here is really all about the arrivals that turned up during the pre-show.

Ed Sheeran – The crowd went absolutely berserk when this guy came out, and he scored some extra points for all of the local fans by wearing a Toronto Blue Jays jersey.

Lucy Hale – Lucy explained that sometimes on “Pretty Little Liars,” the cast members find out about their script changes at the last second … and while on set.

Stephen Amell – The “Arrow” star was very quick to open up about the experience of being on the red carpet for the first time and how he grew up in Toronto.

Patrick J. Adams – You can basically see above for more on this, since Adams also grew up in the city.

Shay Mitchell – Lucy’s fellow “Pretty Little Liars” star was also present, and she shared some thoughts about coming back to Canada and seeing her cover of Elle Magazine.

Naya Rivera – Apparently, Big Sean has done just about everything he can to help her out with her debut album. It’s coming soon.

Taylor Swift – Taylor’s interview was as powder-puff as ever, but this isn’t “60 Minutes,” so we weren’t expecting much. What would have been hilarious was if they announced her name before opening the limo, and then seeing someone like Psy inside. It’d be like the new version of getting Rick-rolled.

Demi Lovato – Basically, Demi got an introduction like she was the Fifth Beatle, but she was fun and gracious to the fans.
