Perhaps the title of this “Castle” season 6 article can actually be taken a little bit literally. Why? The hard-worked team at the hit ABC show is already starting to put pen to paper, and get some episodes ready for the upcoming sixth season of the show.
That’s right: The writers room is officially under way! We’ve already shared the start date for filming (via star Molly Quinn), and this is the important next step in getting us closer to that premiere date in late September. We know already that the start of the season will focus on the answer to Castle’s proposal, but the writers are already thinking beyond that as they map out some stories for at least some of the early arcs of the season. From there, they can then figure out where to place some of the individual mysteries.
There are also some new writers on board the show this season. As CastleTV reports, Marc Dube is coming over after many years working on a different sort of crime show in “CSI: Miami,” and there is also a husband-and-wife team in Chad and Dara Creasy that have worked on “Mistresses” and “Pushing Daisies.” We especially like this tweet from Dara that gives some hilarious insight into the actual world of the writers room:
“One way in which #Castle the writers room is exactly like #Castle the show is in the amount of coffee consumed.”
In case you hadn’t heard previously, Stana Katic actually knows now what transpires next when it comes to Beckett’s secret. Want to know more? All you have to do is visit the story over at the link here. We also welcome all of your thoughts on this story with a comment below!
