‘Suits’ season 3 spoilers: Threats, nightmares, and more for Mike

When “Suits” season 3 premieres on USA July 16, we are going to see all sorts of drama, but while there are a number of interesting stories coming up, there are really two questions that are on everyone’s minds: Will Mike and Rachel actually work as a couple, and will he keep his job?

At the moment, we of course can’t provide you with any answers on either one of them, but what we can say for now is this: According to TV Guide, Mike is going to be suffering from a myriad of nightmares of Rachel telling everyone that he is not really a lawyer, and watching his career go down the toilet. It’s an understandable fear to have, given that she was the primary reason that he didn’t want to tell everyone his secret in the first place.

This is where things get a little bit more interesting. Rachel isn’t necessarily going to sing like a canary, but she is going to send a couple of threats his way: Either quit under his own volition, or deal with whatever sort of consequences that could come his way as a result. Suffice it to say, this is probably not the sort of situation that Patrick J. Adams’ character wanted to find himself in, but this is one that he had to see coming based on everything that he’s done on the show so far.
