‘True Blood’ season 6 spoilers: Courtney Ford poised to return as Portia
If you have been hoping to see more of Portia Bellefleur on “True Blood” season 6, the following news may come as somewhat of a thrill. According to actress Courtney Ford herself, the character is set to come back in a big way to try and help some of the residents of Bon Temps cope with what can be best described as insanity surrounding them.
Want to know more specifics? Ford first confirmed the news about her return as Bill Compton’s relative (albeit several generations lower on the family tree) to TV Guide, and made it pretty clear that someone on the show is going to be in need of professional help from a lawyer moving forward. Meanwhile, she also teased some of the questions that are going to come up involving Bill, who she once hilariously tried to hook up with even in spite of their shared lineage:
“How much of Bill is in there? Is Bill still Bill? That’s the big question mark. I think if she’s afraid of Bill, she’d probably be double afraid of Billith. Billith is pretty scary.”
Ford took some time out last year in order to welcome a child with Brandon Routh, but she is now back out taking new gigs again. Some of her notable credits include this show, “The Vampire Diaries,” and a particularly notable spot on “Dexter” as a reporter who also had a rather interesting connection to the Trinity Killer.
Ford will appear in at least one episode, beginning with the seventh installment of the season. Want to hear more news previewing the new season? Then just head on over to the link here to check out some new wise words from Nelsan Ellis who plays Lafayette on the show.
