‘White Collar’ season 5 spoilers: Will Matt Bomer, Hilarie Burton’s characters reunite?
We know that “White Collar” fans love to passionately ship Neal and Sara, and we get it. They’ve been a huge part of the show for some time, and they also had some pretty memorable scenes that took place in the finale involving the Empire State Building.
However, the announcement of Bridget Regan (“Beauty and the Beast”) as a new love interest for Matt Bomer’s character has to put the breaks on the dreams of many. We know that she will be around for at least a substantial amount of time, and it begs the question: Will there be enough room for both ladies on the show? At the moment, the only answer that we can give you is “maybe.”
According to a report from TVLine, there are currently some discussions about bringing Burton back for season 5 of the USA series, but nothing is official at the moment. If she does return, we doubt it will be for every episode, but still, isn’t a little bit of Sarah a heck of a lot better than no Sarah at all? We like to think so.
“White Collar” is hard at work right now preparing some new episodes to air this coming fall, which is a little bit of a longer wait than in the past for the show. There are really a pair of reasons for this change: Scheduling for the actors, and also the network trying to diversify a little bit. With a large-enough roster of shows, why limit them all to the summer months when you can spread the wealth? This is why “Psych,” which was originally a summer show, aired season 7 in the spring.

Bring Sara back as recurring, get the bromance with Peter/Neal back, and I’ll be happy. I don’t see a new love interest as someone who would be able to actually help his character arc – so far, only Sara’s character has been able to do that.

PLEASE NO MORE SARA.. Time to REFOCUS on the original premise of NEAL AND PETER SOLVING CRIMES. The relationship of Neal and Sara takes Neal way out of character.. we need the fun and flirty conman back. Besides if they want to keep Neal a conman at the Series End, then why would he continue a relationship with Sara again, as she left him the first time due to the hidden treasure. NEWSFLASH he still has it. Time for fresh writing and new characters.

I don’t think You watch the Show Correctly because what I watch and what You watch are completely different You see I see still the Fun and Flirty Conman because he plays that on Sara so what Your watching I don’t know.

You know. WC for me is all about Neal and Peter. And then, Mozzie and El. These four are my WC family. I don’t give a damn who comes and go. I want these four anytime. I liked Sara but I am not sad that she won’t be back. Neal deserves soooo better, I hope this new woman will be best for him. You see third time’s the charm!:) Kate, Sara and now this new one…I think this will be the one.

Lot’s of fans shipping Neal & whatshername? Seriously? WC lost viewers & fans were horrified that she was on as long as she was. Much more celebration with her GONE, finally! When TPTB don’t listen the viewers get furious as they have no say so quite a few left. Fewer like’s of whatshername than you might think.

I’d be able to tolerate her if she came back in a casual/professional way. But with that almost real proposal before bidding good bye, any chances of that happening are kaput….it seemed like her final bye-bye and thank god for that. There is only so much of her fake attitude I can take. But at this point I can totally see a real romance brewing between the new lady and Neal. She is not associated with either side of the law….

I really don’t want Neal too serious with anyone. Part of the fun of the show is his wooing various women. I’m OK with Sara coming back in a casual way again. Bridget is lovely and could be a love interest.
