Big Brother 28 live feed spoilers: Week 2 Veto players

Last night in the Big Brother 28 house there was, without question, one of the biggest fights of the season. Yet, at the same time, the game does somehow have to move forward — and that is precisely what we have to discuss today!

If you missed it, Rick Devens is the Head of Household for the first time this season and with that, he has nominated Melody, Lyric, and Jason for eviction. Rome remains the target, Rome knows that, and a lot of the fallout regarding Jason’s lies has started to settle. (However, we think this is one of those situations where you forgive, but you certainly do not forget.)

So who else was chosen to compete in the Veto today? Think Barrett and Angela. This is absolutely a perfect draw for the Toolshed, the currently-dominant alliance featuring Dee, Devens, Angela, Drew, Barrett, Kamu, Haley, and Chuk. They basically are going to guarantee that the Veto gets used this go-around and Rome goes up. Everyone frankly has an incentive to win — if you are on the block, you need to get that safety. Meanwhile, if you are Devens, Angela, or Barrett, this is a chance to really build some goodwill with one of the people sitting up there.

No matter what happens over the days ahead, it does feel like the ultimate priority here should just be getting rid of either Lyric or Rome. They are a showmance and through that alone, they are almost always going to vote together and stand up for each other. While it may be clear that Rome is the bigger threat, sometimes in this show you really do have to take whatever you can get.
