‘Suits’ season 3 spoilers: Mike’s loyalty, resolve tested in new promo

“Suits” fans, prepare to rejoice: USA has bestowed upon us yet another gift in the form of a new promo for the show. This is going to feel in many ways almost like a recurring theme, but it seems to be what the network is striving for in their promotional efforts: Giving you a little bit of what you love in regards to the show, but also keeping most of the surprises (and the stories) safe until the show actually premieres on July 19.

Case in point? All of the evidence in this clip that Mike is hardly going to say goodbye to the firm at all, and that he may be even more committed than ever now that he has so much more to fight for with Rachel. She is obviously skeptical that he can keep his secret just that, and we doubt that he will be able to eventually. However, she seems to at least be willing enough to not spill the beans so that he can continue to go about his business and try to build a career for himself.

Someone who may not be so willing to sit idly by? Harvey. The finale last year did a pretty great job of showing the extent to which a divide had formed between the two parties, but it is starting to look almost like this divide is about to become a fissure. There are definitely going to be more issues for the two as Harvey does not trust Mike to be loyal anymore, and with the merger coming, that is not exactly something that he wants to risk having around.
