‘American Horror Story: Asylum,’ ABC’s ‘Scandal’ stars talk Emmy chances

In addition to our own Emmy preview series, we do at times like to share a little bit of what some of the possible nominees are saying about their chances as well as being in general on some shows that traditionally draw quite a bit of critical acclaim.

GoldDerby is probably one of the top resources out there when it comes to getting stars and showrunners to speak about their Emmy odds, and the videos below are some of the most notable ones from the past couple of weeks. We’ll start things off here with someone who is almost surely going to be nominated again in the Miniseries category in Jessica Lange for “American Horror Story,” which this time went very creepy / strange with its asylum-themed series.

The major highlight of this video that is making headlines is the claim that she does not watch this show or any other thing that she is a part of, but this is hardly a surprise in that many other actors are the same way.

Meanwhile, you also have an opportunity to listen here to Kerry Washington talk about what was a pretty breakout year for both her as well as her show “Scandal,” which picked up huge steam, ratings, and fans throughout its second season. Kerry may not be a lock for a nomination, but we personally think that she has a pretty good shot. Personally, we’d love to see it happen based on how few other actors from network shows are truly worthy this year.
