‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’ review: Teresa Giudice, Caroline Manzo ‘talk it out’

There was quite a bit that transpired on Sunday night’s “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” episode, and some of it was clearly emotional. Jacqueline Laurita has gone through all sorts of trouble with her son Nicholas, but Chris was desperate to do something nice to surprise her. This moment produced a few moments of “aww”, and it was a nice moment of contrast to the drama or Melissa Gorga freaking out about her house being sold.

There was a moment where Jacqueline’s son actually said it may be one of the sweetest things that we’ve ever seen a guy on this show do and that might be true. We hope that this is remembered years down the road when times are tough, and there is some serious fighting going on.

Now, we turn to the biggest moment of the episode: Teresa Giudice fighting with her brother yet again. After being silent for more than a year, she and Caroline Manzo actually sat down in order to try and talk things out, and the first thing that Teresa did was say that Joe Gorga was “scraping the bottom of the barrel” for asking her to come. Ouch. It approximately took about five seconds for this argument to become ugly, and it only got worse from there.

Basically, the moment of this conversation where things really started to come apart was when Caroline made a really good point which was why is Teresa friends with Kim D., when this is a person who supposedly “set up” Melissa at the party last year? At this point, it really doesn’t feel like there is really that much of a chance for healing at all between these people.
