‘Dancing with the Stars’ notes: Bristol Palin on ‘Wife Swap’; Kristin Cavallari married
Remember how you thought that Bristol Palin’s reality TV career was probably over following her time on “Dancing with the Stars” this past fall? Well, you thought wrong, and the Palin family has somehow managed yet again to sneak their way back into the spotlight.
Sources are confirming that for the June 23 episode of “Celebrity Wife Swap,” Bristol and her sister Willow Palin, two women who are frequently mocked by comedians along with the rest of their family, are going to be changing lives with Joan Rivers and her daughter Melissa. We have no idea what this has to do with swapping wives since none of this is happening, but given Joan’s super-strong viewpoints on just about everything, this has “reality TV trainwreck” written all over it. Now, just imagine that Sarah Palin is this show’s version of Annie Duke from “The Celebrity Apprentice,” and sit back and wait for Joan to explode.
In other news ... we turn to another former “Dancing with the Stars” contestant who partnered with Mark Ballas: Kristin Cavallari. Sources have confirmed that the actress has indeed married her longtime beau (and father of her child) in Jay Cutler, who supported her much of the time that she was on the ABC ballroom competition. Details of the couple’s ceremony are still pretty unclear, but she obtained a marriage license in Tennessee, which is somewhat interesting given that neither party was actually born or raised in the state.
Ever since giving birth, Kristin has stayed relatively low-profile, not appearing on any other major reality TV franchises.
While we sit around and wait for yet another “Dancing with the Stars” season to officially kick off, be sure to head over to the link here. Why? It’s there that you can check out what we think should change for the next season.
