‘The Bachelorette’ spoilers: Kasey Stewart, Desiree Hartsock’s one-on-one time

We already know that Monday night’s new episode of “The Bachelorette” is going to be one of the most dramatic that the show has seen in quite some time, so to go along with that, we’re also hearing now that there is going to be quite a hefty element of danger. Ironically, what we’re looking at here is not one of the more dangerous moments of the night.

Instead, the sneak peek below (via “Entertainment Tonight“) shows both Desiree Hartsock and Kasey Stewart, still making an effort to reclaim his name of Mr. “Guard and Protect Your Heart,” taking part in what is a rather interesting one-on-one date together. What do the activities consist of? Basically, it involves the two having to brave a potential fear of heights.

Is this sort of thing particularly romantic? Not in the traditional sense, but these dates are designed first and foremost to create interesting TV moments, and from there, you have to hope that there is some romance that creeps in as a result. Kasey seems to be a pretty good sport about the whole thing, and who knows? Many of these dates have spawned some sort of romance a little later on down the road (just look at Jake and Vienna). It’s all about teamwork, and helping each other through a vulnerable time when they are afraid.

We don’t know if Desiree and Kasey have much chemistry given an utter lack of screen time, but we feel bad for him. Why? Nobody’s going to be talking about this date by the end of the episode as there are going to be plenty of other topics of conversation.
