‘Hell’s Kitchen’ review: Did Gordon Ramsay finally send Zach packing?
There are so many different storylines that we could talk about right now in the context of “Hell’s Kitchen,” whether it be Susan finally winning her battle against a lamb (while crushing on Jeremy Sisto), Mary doing her best Michael Jordan impression in the kitchen, and John thanking his lucky stars that he was safe thanks to the individual challenge last week.
However, we want to put the focus here on Zach’s magical mystery tour on this show. The man at times acts like he is the second coming of Wolfgang Puck, even though he has a bad habit of exaggerating just about anything and everything when it comes to his achievements. Is he a great cook? Sure, but he consistently lets everything around him get in the way, and his attitude and volatile behavior certainly do not help anything.
This entire dinner service was more than predictable, and it basically followed up everything that we’ve seen all season. The ladies of the Red Team were strong, and the Blue Team was terrible. John was once again the only person to get anything done, and he was forced to choose between Anthony and Zach as to who to put on the block.
So was he right to choose Anthony to put in jeopardy? We’re a little torn. Obviously, Zach has a ton of ambition, and is creative in the kitchen. If he ever figures out how to channel that, he would be fantastic. However, he hasn’t really been able to do that for most of the season. However, Ramsay was willing to bank more on this potential than Anthony’s recent lack of confidence, and this was enough to send him home.
What did you think about this episode, and do you think both John and Ramsay made the right decision booting Anthony? If you want to check out some more scoop when it comes to the show, all you have to do is click here.
