‘True Blood’ season 6 spoilers: New characters within the finale
As you may remember from earlier this year, the order for “True Blood” season 6 was reduced to ten episodes in order to accommodate the pregnancy of star Anna Paquin. With that in mind, the scoop that we have here is all about the finale.
According to a report from SpoilerTV, there are to be specific a trio of parts that are being cast for the show. First, we have a nurse responsible for taking blood samples, which, given this show’s subject matter, is probably not going to be easy. Then, to go along with that, we also have a pair of African-American characters in a little girl and also a religious woman. There is going to be some sort of town meeting during the episode, and these may be the sort of people who turn up.
So why have a town meeting at this point? We wonder whether or not it is due to the primary theme of war that we are seeing played out throughout this season. You have vampires fighting with humans at just about every turn, and it definitely does not feel as though there is going to be any change to it at all in the first few episodes of the season thanks to the actions of one Louisiana Governor Burrell (Arliss Howard), one of the potential Big Bads of the season.
What is your take on these castings? Be sure to share some of your thoughts below! If you want to check out some more scoop related to Alexander Skarsgard’s Eric Northman, all you have to do is click here. The new season officially kicks off a week from Sunday.
