AMC’s ‘The Killing’ season 3 spoilers: Watch a brief clip from the premiere

On Sunday night, “The Killing” season 3 is finally going to be upon us, and the good news that comes with that is an opportunity to finally see what Linden and Holder’s next journey is really going to look like. Will they be able to successfully work together as a team again, or is there too much time that has passed by?

Unfortunately, it’s impossible to have answers to these questions based on the sneak peek below, as a matter of fact, it is pretty impossible to tell much of anything. This video instead is about ten seconds long minus the end tag, and is really just miserable thanks to the scene represented in it: Linden receiving an unknown visitor at her door, and then immediately finding out that it is Holder on the other side as he begins work on a new case.

So what has Linden been up to since leaving the force? You will learn some of this in Sunday’s two-hour episode, but she will have not only made the decision to work on a ferry and move out to an island, but she will have taken on a younger lover. This is clearly the life that she wanted, so it is a little easy to question why in the world she would be willing to give this up almost in a blink in order to work on a case.

So what could really bring her back? Without giving too much away, let’s just say that there could be a certain connection to Linden’s past that intrigues her.
