‘Dexter’ season 8 spoilers: Yvonne Strahovski talks possible happy ending for Hannah
Are we going to see Hannah McKay walk off into the sunset with the man of her dreams on “Dexter” season 8? It’s a little unclear right now, mostly because it’s still unclear whether or not we are going to see her really walk off at all. When you consider how many people who know about Dexter’s secret end up with a happy ending, there’s not many of them, and while Dexter really has no reason to worry about Lumen Pierce, Hannah is a little bit of a different story.
We have no idea as to whether or not Yvonne Strahovski’s return to the show will include a death scene or not, but the actress does tell The Huffington Post in a new interview that she has spent some time as of late debating about whether or not this is a character that can be redeemed or have a happy ending:
“I’ve been thinking about this myself for the past couple weeks trying to figure out what I would like for Hannah, but I don’t know. It’s a hard thing to answer. Plus I’m sure the writers would come up with something way better than I would for her fate.”
Strahovski is the only confirmed guest from a past season of the show, but Charlotte Rampling, Sean Patrick Flanery, and Nick Gomez are among the people that are confirmed at this point to be making their first appearances during the show’s June 30 premiere.
What do you think: Should Hannah have a happy ending, or do you think that Strahovski’s character could end up dead before the end of this season? If you want to see a list of people who we feel should return before “Dexter” season 8 comes to a close, just be sure to head on over to the link here.

As a fan of lovely Yvonne and the characters she plays I don’t want to see her die but the Dexter show always has a moral tone and wrong-doers always have to suffer for their crimes. Having said that, Yvonne’s Hannah has already endured Dexter’s kill table, been stabbed, and spent time in prison. It’s hard to see what else the scriptwriters can do her – unless she ends up on death row ? Can’t see Dexter killing her – unless she means to harm Harrison ?
