‘True Blood’ season 6: Dive into history of Alexander Skarsgard, Anna Paquin, more

In just three weeks from today, “True Blood” season 6 is going to be back on the air. Since this is not enough time to really sink your teeth into 60 episodes worth of content to catch up if you’ve never watched the show (unless you are a machine with a passion for binge-watching), why not take advantage of a very different sort of way to catch up on the show?

In the video below, you can see some of the highlights from the series recent history crammed into just five minutes for your viewing pleasure. While this does not include every finer detail that you need in order to understand the road ahead, it does a pretty good job at showing you what is up with Alexander Skarsgard’s Eric, Anna Paquin’s Sookie, and all of the other major characters.

The biggest thing that we have to remember about this season is that one of its central themes is going to be death, and that it happens to everyone at one point, even immortals. Who will end up being a victim this time around? We don’t know just yet, but the one thing to remember is that there will be a totally shocking death that happens around the midway point this season, one that is perhaps more substantial than almost anything that the show has done to this point.
