Ratings: ‘Nikita’ ends on good note before season 4; ‘Rock Center’ improves
Even though the future for “Nikita” may now more or less be set in stone, there also still has to be a contingent of people out there who still wants to see the CW drama end on some sort of positive note in the ratings. This is a show, after all, whose struggles are pretty well-documented … probably as well as such a thing really could be.
The “Nikita” season 3 finale drew a 0.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic, which is a nice improvement from anything that we’ve seen from the show as of late. Is it enough to suddenly change the episode order for the final season? Not so much. The show really should just be happy that it is getting this sort of opportunity, though the network still does not have a spot scheduled for it. (Don’t worry: Something on the schedule is going to bomb so miserably that there will be a spot open for it.)
On a different note, let’s get a little ironic when it comes to “Rock Center.” We had a great time earlier this spring mercilessly mocking the fact that Allison Williams, with a show on HBO, is much more relevant than anything her father is doing on prime time. However, the “Rock Center” ratings have ironically improved since its cancellation. Take, for example, the fact that the show drew a 1.3 rating last night, which, by its standards and for a show airing on a Friday night at 10:00 p.m., are really not that bad.
