‘True Blood’ season 6 spoilers: A closer look at Sookie Stackhouse’s new enemy
What are we going to see coming up on “True Blood” season 6? While we do not have a firm answer to that just yet, we do have yet another look at one of the show’s biggest villains … and a man who still looks kind of like a combination of Christopher Walken and Colonel Sanders.
That’s right, we’re talking about Macklyn! This character, played by Rutger Hauer, is a massive mystery trapped inside of a massive enigma. If you ask some people, this man could very well be Warlow, the ancient vampire that is responsible for the death of Sookie Stackhouse’s parents. There are so many questions that we have to ask here, but sadly most of them cannot be answered in the span of a few short seconds … including why this character looks so much like he is trapped in the Mark Twain era of steamboats when it comes to his fashion taste.
Granted, Macklyn (if that is his real name) is just one of the many problems coming up this season. There is also the issue of Bill still being in his bloodied-up vampire deity form from the end of last season, and you have to believe that there will be pretty nasty problems that come out of that. Also, who knows if some of the other characters still around will go off of the rails? We long believed that Bill was one of the few characters on the show already who was not going to betray Sookie in any shape or form, and look how well that theory turned out.
Are you excited to see what Hauer ends up bringing to the role? Be sure to share some of your theories below, and there is some more scoop on an upcoming major death over at the link here.
