‘True Blood’ season 6: Alexander Skarsgard and a preview for a preview

While for whatever reason some of the “True Blood” – “Waiting Sucks” videos have cooled down ever since the HBO series unveiled its official season 6 trailer, there is still some good news. A week from Friday, some of the show’s cast members are going to all sit down in order to discuss what happened on the show in the past, and how this could carry over into what we will see come Sunday, June 26.

This special is called “True Blood: An Authority on Season 5,” and it features appearances from a whole heap of familiar faces, from Anna Paquin to Stephen Moyer, Alexander Skarsgard, Rutina Wesley, and Kristin Bauer van Straten. The special starts at a pretty unusual time in 9:45 p.m. Eastern, so what may be the best piece of advice that we can give you is for you to set your DVRs.

After all, you don’t want to miss an opportunity to sink your fangs into a chance to catch up on everything that happened on the show previously. One of the biggest issues with a series being only 12 episodes long is that it leaves 38 weeks of waiting. A lot of time has progressed since season 5 came to a close, and since watching all of the episodes back would take up a full day, this is a much easier way to remember everything, and get some extra insight to boot. Plus, it’s further proof that even when the makeup and the fake blood is put away, these people still all do seem to genuinely like each other.
