ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 5 finale spoilers: Great moments for Stana Katic’s Beckett
You can call the finale for Monday night’s “Castle” finale whatever you wish, but for us, we have a rather simple name: “Beckett, get your life together!” She is in full control of everything that happens here, whether you look at her life, her career, and whether or not she continues to stay with a boyfriend who is often thoughtful and generous, but can’t commit and loves to play death-matches while she is standing next to him wearing just a shirt.
The first thing we can tease for Beckett on Monday’s episode is very simple: She needs to talk all of this out! Her secret about a job offer from Washington DC will stay hidden about as long as spoilers for “The Bachelor,” meaning that even if someone doesn’t say something to him about it, they may still know. Kate needs advice on everything swirling around in her head, and with that she returns to a familiar ally who desperately needs more screen time: Lanie.
What can Lanie really tell her about this dilemma she faces? We have no clue, outside of some encouraging words and a few attempts to put an ultimatum of Rick. While there are some things the guy clearly should be able to figure out on his own, she’s got to make it clear what Meredith said to her so many weeks ago. If she is going to stay in New York City with what is a less prestigious and possibly lower-paying job, she should at least get some sort of long-term commitment out of it. If nothing else, at least recognition that they are moving in a direction other than a circle.
There are some other great things to be excited about for the finale. As you hopefully remember from our earlier article, there’ll be a “Chuck” star on board.

Beckett has control, maybe a little confused right now.Castle has control as well, maybe too much in his own mind.Things cant always go his way.I can see why Beckett chose not to tell him of interview Not that it was the right choice. The end showed us that she will stay at the 12th,that is her home and hopefully she will say Yes to Castle, afterall, this is the direction she wanted.Taking some of Royces advice, not risking our hearts by putting the job first.

Beckett does have control. Castle also has control if he would just profess some kind of commitment to her, she will be all in and decline the job offer.
