You’ve likely been waiting for it for quite a long time, and in just six days now, the “Supernatural” finale will be here. Entitled “Sacrifice,” you have to believe that this word will of course be an enormous theme in almost everything that transpires over the course of the hour. There will be surprises, returning characters, and villains galore.
Plus, there will be the start of what is a very different third trial for Jared Padalecki’s Sam: Try to find a way to change Crowley. No matter how much he and Dean try to torture the man, we cannot exactly say that any of it is going to end up working. (This may be a time for some alternative measures, no?)
As much as we love the photo of Misha Collins (Castiel) and Curtis Armstrong (Metatron) above, their story is very important in a non-hilarious way. After watching Naomi and her little crew run the show in Heaven, the two have frankly had enough. Therefore, they are going to look to try and take the holiest of places back using an elaborate plan. These two stories are going to run concurrently, and it is to be expected that at some point, they will probably also cross paths leading up to the grand conclusion (which will almost surely contain a cliffhanger, given what sort of show we are dealing with here).
The most interesting threat of all here is not Crowley, though and is instead Abaddon, who somehow is going to find a way back onto the scene despite the pretty gruesome end to her character earlier this year during “As Time Goes By.”
