‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 4 spoilers: Mona teams up with the ladies in first promo

While the “Pretty Little Liars” spent most of the first three seasons being terrorized by Mona, they now find themselves in a rather interesting position moving forward into season 4: Actually wanting to work with her.

So why make this move? The simple answer to that is that they all share some sort of a common bond now. While Mona did receive a good many orders from a certain woman in a red coat, she had no idea at all that this woman could actually be Alison DiLaurentis. Going into this season, no one still knows for sure given that they went to Ali’s funeral, and they may continue to try and justify what they saw as a hallucination caused by the fire.

So what is the most interesting part of this story? The fact that whoever is contacting the women now as “A,” still wants them buried in the ground, and yet Mona is with them. Is Alison sending them messages, and if so, why in the world did she not kill them when she had a chance in the fire? The only thing that we can really think of here is that she did not want to run the risk of some genetic material being lost at the scene of the crime, or that she wants to do away with the Liars completely on her own terms.

June 11 is the official premiere for the new season, and based on what we’re seeing here, we are going to be in for a crazy ride.
