‘American Idol’ top 3 spoilers: What’s next for Kree Harrison, Angie Miller, Candice Glover

If you have been anxiously awaiting the “American Idol” top three performance show, you’re surely not the only one. This lineup of Kree Harrison, Angie Miller, and Candice Glover is really what everyone has been waiting for ever since the top 10 began and while we did not expect the results to be as predictable as they were (straight down to Lazaro Arbos beating the other men thanks to his story), we’re still happy to get to the point where we are now.

So where do the final three go from here? Basically, back home! The hometown visits will be filmed this weekend, in their respective hometowns. Candice and Kree are from pretty small towns in South Carolina and Texas, respectively, and in some ways that actually works the best for TV since it gives you that sort of “how far they’ve come” feelings. Meanwhile, Angie’s hometown of Beverly, Massachusetts is sure to be filled with pride, as just about every suburb of Boston these days has a major sense of union. (Beverly is less than an hour’s drive from the city on days without heavy traffic.)

As for the song choice, expect it to be something very familiar.The judges will pick a song, the producers will pick a song, and Jimmy Iovine will pick a song. The production pick is always the most frustrating, since they almost always pick a song that has been beaten to death on the show already. Jimmy, meanwhile, had some pretty great picks last year.
