As we reported recently, there is a new character entering the world of “American Horror Story: Coven” this fall known as Madison, and that she is set to appear in at least a good chunk of the 13 episodes ahead.
While we still do not have word just yet on who is going to be playing this character, we can at least say something new about who this young lady is. According to a new report from E! News, this character is described as a “Hollywood actress-type,” and is going to have an affinity for getting wild. As for how this ends up playing into the world of witches, that is to be seen.
What we can say is that one of the more promising ideas for this character would be getting the opportunity to see how she could interact with some of the witches that are going to be a part of the show’s cast. We’d personally love a twist that would actually allow her to be a “Sabrina the Teenage Witch” type, except a little older and more devilish. Seeing what happens when young, irresponsible people are handed a great deal of power can often be entertaining. (Just look at what many young celebrities do for some evidence on this very thing.)
Some of the current cast for the season includes returning stars Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson, Lily Rabe, and Evan Peters. Meanwhile, Kathy Bates has already been announced in a powerful role as a new addition to the cast.
“American Horror Story: Coven” does not premiere on FX until October, so we are of course going to see and hear plenty more from this show before that time. If you want to read a little bit more scoop on whether or not Zachary Quinto wants to return, you can do so over at the link here.
