‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 4: How Ian Somerhalder, Nina Dobrev start vacation

This past week, filming officially wrapped on “The Vampire Diaries” season 4, which means that it is finally time for many of these cast members to have some much-deserved time to relax and unwind. As for whether or not some of these people are taking advantage of this to actually do so, that is an entirely different story.

In the case of some of them, they actually prefer getting the opportunity to be frequently on the go and seeing new parts of the world. Take, for example, Ian Somerhalder. In a post on Twitter recently, the actor revealed that his travel schedule for the next few months basically consists of him going to China, New York, Spain, Canada, Russia, Hungary, Belgium, England, New York again, and then back to Atlanta for “The Vampire Diaries” season 5. We’re sure that there will also be a trip to San Diego in here at some point for Comic-Con, as well, though that has not been announced yet. The England stop is for a role he is shooting in an upcoming film, and many “Vampire Diaries” stars are going to conventions that are taking place in Spain and Belgium over the summer.

As for Nina Dobrev, she is taking things easy and having fun right now on the beach before taking off to any international destinations. For the second time in the past several months, she had a day of fun in the sun recently with her good friend Julianne Hough and others. The two convened earlier this spring, following the announcement that the former “Dancing with the Stars” pro and Ryan Seacrest had split.
