‘Breaking Bad’ season 5: Bryan Cranston, Vince Gilligan speak out in lively panel

Breaking BadDo you love “Breaking Bad,” and do you have a full hour of time available to listen to some of the cast and crew talk about it? If so, then the video below certainly is going to be something that you appreciate.

Recently, creator Vince Gilligan and a number of the show’s cast members (including Emmy-winner Bryan Cranston) sat down in order to discuss the fifth season in front of an audience at the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (which just so happens to be the people behind the famous awards show). There are a number of subjects touched upon here, and it ranges from the show’s inception to what it was like closing up the series earlier this year.

Production is already wrapped, and many cast members have already booked work elsewhere. For example, Dean Norris is currently shooting “Under the Dome” for CBS, while Anna Gunn is potentially set to star in a scripted series for Bravo. Neither Cranston nor his co-star Aaron Paul have secured any future television work just yet, but they have time to figure that out. (Cranston in particular has a development deal with Sony Pictures TV for future projects, including some he could star in.)

The conclusion of “Breaking Bad” will officially kick off on Sunday, August 11, which is also ironically right in the middle of Emmy season. While we don’t necessarily think there is a great correlation between Emmy winners and when they air during the year, it is nonetheless certainly worth noting.
