‘Bones’ season 8 spoilers: Emily Deschanel tees up penultimate episode

With there only being two episodes left on “Bones” season 8 before what should be a pretty epic finale, you better get ready for some pretty incredible things to unfold … beginning of course with the penultimate episode airing next week. So what should you ultimately expect? Really, it is a combination of things. There will be a mystery (as usual), but this one puts the lives of many of the other people at the Jeffersonian at risk, as the entire team deals with a biochemical threat that can kill if just one person makes a mistake in the way it is handled.

For more on this, why not turn to someone who really knows this show better than almost anyone at this point? Speaking to TVLine, series star Emily Deschanel had the following to say about what is a pretty intense storyline:

“The stakes are incredibly high … One of our own [in Arastoo] is affected and faces possible death … And since Cam, who we are so close to, loves him and is facing losing him, it’s incredibly terrible to think about.”

As we detailed in some recent posts, we assume that whatever ends up happening next week will directly carry over in some shape or form to the finale. Even if the story is not directly connected to the last episode of the season, we have to imagine that there will at least be some sort of emotional carryover. With Pelant coming back on board for the finale, Booth and Brennan better be at the top of their game.
