‘Game of Thrones’ season 3, episode 3 preview: What to expect in ‘Walk of Punishment’
However, if there is one thing we have learned about Jaime over the past two seasons, it is that this is a very shrewd and resourceful man; as a matter of fact, the short synopsis for the episode below suggests that he may be able to weasel his way out of any harm:
“Tyrion gains new responsibilities; Jon is taken to the Fist of the First Men; Daenerys meets with the slavers; Jaime strikes a deal with his captors.”
It may be hard to read much else into this synopsis, but it is confirmed that Dany will be coming back after being absent in episode 2, and we will hopefully see more Jon after just a few tiny scenes last week. The Tyrion story is one of the few that you can probably expect to see in just about every episode this season; while he may not have to engage in as much physical violence as he did during the Battle of Blackwater, he will once again have a shot to show off his intelligence.
Of course, the biggest question mark of all right now is Theon Greyjoy. Since he is not even in A Storm of Swords, we have no real reference point at all that runs concurrently with the George R.R. Martin book.
