Chicago Med season 8 episode 16 return date hopes at NBC

After what you see tonight pm NBC, it makes sense to be curious about a Chicago Med season 8 episode 16 return date. How can you not be? We know that there’s still a good bit left to come this season, whether it be more medical mysteries or compelling character stories. We wish we could get them all as soon as possible.

Unfortunately, we know already that the world of One Chicago, and also the world of network television, don’t quite work that way. The production/post-production teams need more time to get everything else together, and that is one of the reasons why there won’t be anything next week or the week after. The absolute earliest you could see Chicago Med / One Chicago in general back is on Wednesday, March 22, at least according to the network press releases that we have seen so far.

Because we are so far away at the moment from all three shows coming back, we’re at a point where there isn’t all that much in the way of info out there just yet. Will that change within the next couple of weeks? Almost certainly so.

Beyond just the rest of season 8, of course we remain curious about a Chicago Med season 9. How in the world can we not? Nothing has been confirmed as of yet in regards to that, but we do think that a little more information will surface before we get too deep into the spring. There was a time in the early going where we were a little more worried about the future of this show, but ever since all three Chicago shows started airing the same night, the entire franchise has become a well-oiled machine.

So where’s to hoping for many more seasons … but also that we get a chance to see some more excellent content in the relatively near future, as well.
