‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 6: Seth MacFarlane stops by for taping!

Seth Macfarlane

Before you try to read anything into this, don’t: Seth MacFarlane isn’t doing anything on “The Big Bang Theory” as far as we know. However, who doesn’t love to see the guy in attendance for a taping of the show? The CBS sitcom taped this week the penultimate episode of season 6, and the “Family Guy” creator and jack-of-all-trades was snapped backstage by none other than executive producer Bill Prady.

We could speculate as to why Seth showed up, whether it be thanks to him having another show (possibly new pilot “Dads”) taping nearby to him or  just being a friend of someone on the cast or crew.  Macfarlane’s appearance more than anything else is simply just a nice showing of camaraderie between one hit series and another on a different network. “The Big Bang Theory” is the highest-rated comedy on TV, while “Family Guy” typically cleans house as the top-rated animated show.

Moving forward on “The Big Bang Theory,” some of the stories that you should expect to see include whether or not Sheldon ever plans to get intimate with Amy, if Raj’s new love interest Lucy is going to stay around, and if Leonard and Penny will actually be able to finish a season on good terms for a change rather than with some awkward moments and a marriage proposal that happens at an inopportune time.

What do you want to see happen on the final few episodes of “The Big Bang Theory” this season? If you want to read some more scoop about Raj (who is apparently a big fan of hockey in one photo), be sure to check out the story over here.
