‘NCIS’ season 10 finale spoilers: ‘Dexter’ alum Colin Hanks scores juicy role

NCISColin Hanks is probably the most underrated part of “Dexter” season 6, as his fanatical, delusional Travis Marshall proved himself to be a very different sort of adversary than anyone else that Dexter Morgan had faced off against at that time. So where is the actor heading off to next? As it turns out, he could be ruffling some feathers on the final two episodes of “NCIS” season 10.

Sources are confirming that Hanks will specifically be appearing in the final two episodes of the top-rated CBS series as Department of Defense Investigator Richard Parsons. There is not much known about the character just yet, save for the fact that he is someone who has a reputation for speaking his mind, and at times making life rather difficult for those around him.

While “NCIS” will certainly benefit greatly from the actor’s appearance, one of the greatest things you can say about this show is that it really does not need him in order to be successful. This is consistently one of the most-watched programs on TV, and despite at times having lower numbers this year in the 18-49 demographic, it is still going strong and has already been renewed for season 11.

As for Hanks’ part on “Dexter,” the Doomsday Killer is very much a memory after Dexter killed him and he and Debra burned the body. Season 6 was probably one of the most polarizing in the history of the show, but it is good to see that it is leading to some more gigs for one of the actors at the center of the story.
