‘Justified’ season 5 spoilers: What guest star could return for more?

Whenever you finish the season of a show, especially one that airs on cable, there are always questions to ask when it comes to who is going to be back for more among some of the guest cast. At times, you often see someone unable to return due to other commitments, but there are also situations where the story lines, and everyone in relation to the show wants to see the person continue on in some shape or form. (“Sons of Anarchy” and Jimmy Smits is a good example of this very thing.)

When it comes to season 5 of “Justified,” the person that we could be seeing some more of is Sammy Tonin, the heir to the mafia that played a big part especially in the second half of the season. While showrunner Graham Yost tells TVLine that there is not going to be as much of the mob story moving forward, he did explain why Max Perlich could be coming back to the show at some point in the near future:

“We really like [him]. There could be fun stuff there, but that’s not something we’re driving toward. [But] if something materialized, it would be a good story.”

Granted, what you always have to remember when you see scoop on any given show this early is that there is a natural tendency for things to change over time. After all, the scripts have not even been written yet for season 5, so everything Yost says is prior to getting into a writers’ room or negotiating with anyone. For now, let’s just hold out hope with a smile on our face.
