‘Once Upon a Time’ season 2 spoilers: How ‘The Walking Dead’ season 4 play a role

Once Upon a TimeAs you may have heard recently, actress Sonequa Martin-Green was recently promoted to a series regular for the upcoming fourth season of AMC’s “The Walking Dead.” For her, this certainly has to be great news: the zombie drama is television’s most-popular drama in the 18-49 demographic, and it also has an extremely loyal fan following.

However, this news has been perceived as slightly less fantastic for anyone who loves “Once Upon a Time,” and the reasoning for that is rather simple: it’s not going to be easy to be on “The Walking Dead” whenever she is needed, and then come over here to play the role of Tamara, Neal’s fiancee with some very evil motives for the town of Storybrooke.

So does this new promotion for Martin-Green on one show mean the end for her on the other? Easy there! TVLine spoke with executive producer Adam Horowitz, and he made it very clear that this news is not necessarily a guarantee by any means that Tamara is going to die or be written out of the show in the weeks ahead:

“The challenge that we’ve faced, both seasons so far, is scheduling … We don’t want to give away what our plans are for any character, but we’ve been able to work out scheduling in the past.”

Horowitz does have a point, in that some other actors (David Anders, Meghan Ory during season 1, and Sebastian Stan being good examples) have been able to jump back and forth for this series to some other projects. Next season, we know that it is going to be even more difficult, considering that Ory has a new pilot and many other actors are being considered for other series.
