‘Big Brother Canada’ live feed spoilers: The battle of the sexes
If you remember back to earlier in the season on “Big Brother Canada,” it appeared almost as though there was going to be an epic battle waged in the end between the men and the women; however, this seemed to fall apart the moment that Tom and Liza really got their showmance going full-tilt.
But are things starting to shift that way again? It’s hard to tell, mostly because what we could be seeing here is a case of certain houseguests telling each other certain things in order to ensure their survival. Talla, Topaz, and Jillian have spent a good bit of time together this afternoon, with one of the biggest points stressed being that the guys have got to go in order to give themselves the advantage. The #1 target following Alec’s assured eviction on Thursday night? Peter, who is trying to rally the guys together, since it is his only real chance now at staying in the game.
While the houseguests don’t know it, the double-eviction Thursday makes Peter’s target even bigger, since he will be the easiest person to send home, as he will be unable to really fight for his life to stay in the game if he is on the block save for the Power of Veto. The only thing that could really help him is if the women are lying to each other, just to make sure that Topaz targets Andrew, Peter, or Emmett if she wins Head of Household. If Topaz goes after Jillian / Emmett, she certainly can’t say anything while she is in danger of leaving the game Thursday night.
Ultimately, we don’t buy that a women’s alliance will really happen thanks to Emmett’s showmance more than anything else, just as we don’t think that the guys are really going to be able to band together much more than they already have.

The women’s thing is a total farce. There is no way any of that hangs together the second this eviction is over. It doesn’t make any sense. Topaz has ZERO reason to trust Jillian after she broke all of her endurance promises. Second, Jillian’s main two allies are Emmett and Andrew (men) and her showmance Emmett does not care much at all for Talla or Topaz. So pretty much the “women’s alliance” is Jillian hoping the ladies keep her safe but she has no intention of protecting the others. I understand why Topaz is doing it, she needs to survive this week and in the event she is in danger next she needs to stay over Peter. We’ve seen time and time again on reality TV that women almost never align together but this trio of ladies has about zero trust in each other to begin with. Talla needs to realize she’s 4th in a 4 person alliance to move up and she’s stupidly targeting anyone who has interest in taking out big targets.
