‘Dancing with the Stars 16’: Lisa Vanderpump faints during rehearsal, status unclear

Lisa VanderpumpIs “Dancing with the Stars” going to lose another contestant due to injury? Almost two weeks after Dorothy Hamill became the first contestant of this season to leave due to a myriad of problems she had suffered during rehearsals, Lisa Vanderpump may now be considering leaving the competition prior to Monday night’s show.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star fainted during rehearsals for the hit ABC show, and she is now having to make a few key decisions when it comes to participating on the show moving forward. This has been an extremely busy week for Vanderpump, who has traveled to the East Coast, dealt with promotions related to her two Bravo series at the network’s upfront presentation, and of course is also trying to find a way to get in rehearsal time with her partner of Glev Savchenko.

So is it possible that things are worse on paper than they are in reality? Sure, and while the problem here may be serious, ABC may also be using this to spike up live viewing for the show tomorrow night. (After all, they have done this on the series in the past.) If for whatever reason Lisa does opt to leave before performing her routine Monday night, they will probably turn Tuesday’s results show into a cliffhanger, and announce at the end of it that no one is going home, and the scores from this week will carry over.

Of course, be sure to keep checking back, as we will have more updates as they happen about whether or not Vanderpump will return to the competition.  In case you missed our “Dancing with the Stars” contestant rankings from earlier in the weekend, you can check them out by visiting the story over at the link here.
