As you would probably expect, there is some pretty significant change coming up on the fifth season of “Royal Pains.” We still don’t know exactly what the physical state for Hank is going to be following his hospitalization during the winter wedding episode, but we have learned something new when it comes to Paige: she is going to be busier than ever moving forward.
According to a brand-new report coming in from TVLine, we are going to see none other than Evan’s new wife Paige land herself a much more traditional job in the new season beyond just being an artist, helped HankMed, or attending school. So what will this entail? Specifically, we’re talking about her getting an internship at Sutton and Chesterfield’s, and the show is currently casting a recurring role named Russel Berger. (As an aside, does everyone immediately think of “Sex and the City” now when the name Berger is mentioned?) The only other things that are known about this man is that he is in the forties, and he is not always particularly respectful towards women.
This is only just one of many new roles that are set to come up in the new season; while some of them are not currently known, it has been confirmed that “American Horror Story” star Frances Conroy will be on board for an arc as a Victoria Grayson-esque Queen Bee who resides in the Hamptons.
What do you think about the idea of Paige getting a more traditional job for the time being, especially since her husband has one that could not be any further from traditional if he tried?
