‘American Idol’ results preview: Is Burnell Taylor or Lazaro Arbos at greatest risk?
Can we all agree that we are probably going to be losing another guy on Thursday night’s “American Idol” results show? It certainly feels that way at the moment. We thought that one of them needed a massive comeback week in order to keep people voting for them, and since that didn’t happen, we’re probably looking instead at a situation where the two guys are sitting firmly in the bottom two.
So who ultimately has the biggest chance at going home? First of all, let’s go ahead and assume that Angie Miller (pimp spot), Candice Glover (being consistently amazing), and Janelle Arthur (the show’s rising star) are each going to be declared safe by America right away. Amber Holcomb has been in the bottom three before, but she’s probably going to be safe.
We are admittedly a little worried about Kree Harrison. Do we love her voice? Definitely, but her energy level has been a little weird the past two weeks, and Janelle could be taking some of the country vote away from her.
In the end, we have a sinking feeling that Lazaro Arbos is going to be able to survive yet again, and Burnell Taylor will be the one who ultimately is sent packing. Why? The reason is simple: Burnell went first on the night (never good for votes), and you could argue that Lazaro’s performance of “We Are the Champions” wasn’t a complete disaster. Following what happened last week and with the judges being a little bit nicer to him this time around, it could be seen as a comeback.
Who do you think is going to be heading home tonight? Be sure to share some of your thoughts below, and you can also visit the link here to read our full review of Thursday night’s new episode.

Talent-wise and lacking professionalism (forgetting more lyrics than he remembers) Lazaro should have been gone last week!
