Bravo renews ‘Shahs of Sunset,’ ‘Top Chef Masters,’ and many more

BravoBravo is apparently trying to rival CBS when it comes to renewing as many shows as humanly possible within one full swoop, and the roster of series that they are bringing back for more is pretty darn impressive … even if there are a few surprises thrown in the for good measure.

The following series are all officially come back for more new episodes: “Flipping Out,” “Tabatha Takes Over,” “Million Dollar Listing,” “Top Chef Masters,” “Million Dollar Listing: New York,” “Shahs of Sunset,” “The Real Housewives of Miami,” “Chef Roble & Co.,” “Vanderpump Rules,” “The Real Housewives of New Jersey,” “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” “The Real Housewives of New York,” “Top Chef,” and “Watch What Happens Live.”

A pretty impressive list, no? Bravo does not like to cancel shows without giving them every shot to succeed, but the real stunner here is that the Miami version of the “Real Housewives” franchise will be coming back despite some low ratings and a roster that has already been retooled once. The other installments were far less surprising, as some of them have been filming for weeks.

While there have been no formal announcements concerning cancellations, this pretty much cements that the future is not bright for either “Around the World in 80 Plates” (ironically our favorite Bravo show of the past year) and “Life After Top Chef.” Neither one of them made a huge impression in the ratings, and we have to figure that the former was rather expensive to film. They may not be canceled, though, so much as Bravo is possibly re-tooling them for the future.

“The Real Housewives of Orange County” was also not on this list, but given that the show just premiered last night, that is hardly a surprise.
