‘Mad Men’ season 6 spoilers: Official synopsis, Jon Hamm photo from premiere

Now that we’ve gone through the season premiere of one extremely ambitious cable TV show in “Game of Thrones,” isn’t it time to move to the next one in “Mad Men”? Sunday night marks the grand return of the hit AMC drama, and with that we are hopefully going to find out the answers to our (numerous) burning questions. Is the end near for Don and Megan? Is Peggy going to stay close with everyone at her own firm? How will Joan adjust to her new position of power? All are subjects that will surely be addressed in the first few episodes; but sadly, very little is addressed at all in the synopsis for the premiere.

Check out the description below, and in the process you’ll surely be reminded of how notorious creator Matthew Weiner is when it comes to keeping big secrets related to his show under wraps:

“In the Season 6 two-hour premiere, Don spearheads a new campaign, Roger gets some unsettling news, and Betty takes in a houseguest.”

The five words that are clearly the most interesting part of the synopsis are the ones involving Betty, mostly because this should serve as some tangible proof that January Jones is going to have much more to do this time around after being limited in season 5 thanks to her pregnancy. Since much has changed in her life since last filming episodes for the show, it is also fair to say that we may see a greater change out of Betty than any other character on the show.
