‘Dancing with the Stars 16’: Kellie Pickler, ‘American Idol’s’ Kree Harrison share bond

When you consider the fact that “Dancing with the Stars” and “American Idol” both shoot their live performance shows at the same studio lot, it only makes some sense that some of the stars from the two shows would bond. In the case of ballroom pro Mark Ballas and singer Pia Toscano, they were even able to build a relationship for a time.

However, what makes the connection between Kellie Pickler and Kree Harrison different in this situation is that their friendship and common bond existed far before the show. Both are active members of the Nashville community, and Kellie is the only person to ever compete on both shows. So what are the pals doing to commemorate this rare experience? Speaking to E! News, Kree explained that the two have an interesting bet with each other to get inked up in the event that they each emerge victorious:

“We’ve decided that if we win, which I know she’s going to win Dancing With the Stars, we’re going to go get matching tattoos!”

So what are the odds of these two both winning the competition? Right now, we actually think that they are pretty high. Kellie received her highest scores of the competition Monday night and was declared safe in the voting, while Kree has yet to land in the bottom three at all in her season. (We actually know that she was one of the three top vote-getters during the week of the top 10 performance show.)
