ABC’s ‘Scandal’ season 2, episode 18 preview: Who is the mole?

Just when you started to think that the past few episodes of “Scandal” season 2 were a little bit slow-moving when it came to the plot, the episode airing on Sunday night is starting to clearly shake things up a little bit. The shocker pertaining to Osbourne is going to carry over in a big way, and thus we are going to kick-start a massive search for the mole that is going to end up having a myriad of twists and turns.

So what is going to be coming up as a result of all this?The promo below is so rapid-fire that it doesn’t really allow many opportunities to really explain anything that is going to happen, but it is probably nonetheless fair to say that there are a few things coming up for sure:

1. Huck is is some sort of deep trouble, which suggests that his surveillance skills are surely not as good as he would have hoped.

2. Olivia is involved in a love scene with someone … but is it Fitz or Jake? Neither one of them right now seems to be the model of good behavior?

3. Expect ghosts from the past to continue to haunt all of the characters involved.

There are only five episodes of “Scandal” left this season, so it is fair to say that now is the time where some of the action is definitely going to be sped up a little bit. This is a Shonda Rhimes show, after all, and something will have to happen in the finale to keep people talking all summer long.
