‘Anger Management’ season 2 spoilers: Denise Richards, Charlie Sheen reunite (video)

While we’ve spent most of our time lately talking about “Anger Management” in the context of Lindsay Lohan’s upcoming guest appearance, it really should also be noted that Charlie Sheen is going to be joined on the show next week by someone he has quite a bit of experience with on and off-screen: Denise Richards. The actress was married to Sheen for many years and is the father to two of his children, and they maintain a good relationship to this day. Not only that, but she appeared on “Two and a Half Men” several times before coming on this FX show last summer as a woman who was very skeptical about the process of therapy.

So what can we expect from Richards’ character of Lori this time around? It’s hard to really say at the moment, largely because the official synopsis revealed by FX doesn’t really do much of a job giving away anything:

“Charlie dates Jennifer’s business partner, Lori (Denise Richards), only to find she has sexual anger issues.”

Richards’ appearance last time was one of the better episodes of the first season, mostly because the two actors have a natural chemistry that can really only work together after an extended period of time together. So will that shine through again? That is the question moving forward, and the show needs every chance for a spark that it can right now given the crowded Thursday-night landscape, and also the fact that it is hard to build up buzz when you have a new episode coming up pretty much every week.
