‘The Walking Dead’ season 3 finale, ‘Mad Men’ season 6 team up for new promo
AMC seems to be very well aware of the fact that they have two shows in “Mad Men” and “The Walking Dead,” and they also have quite a sense of humor about it. After all, how else do you explain the hilarious new promo that was put out for the two? You can check it out below, and it does a pretty good job of hyping what is coming up from a variety of different directions.
First and foremost, the clip is pretty effective in giving a basic overview for both shows, and also the fact that AMC is making sure that we don’t have to go more than a week without having one of the two on the air. “The Walking dead” ends season 3 on Sunday with what may be the most-guarded episode in the history of the show; meanwhile, “Mad Men” season 6 launches the following Sunday with a two-hour episode that should provide a great glimpse as to where Don Draper is heading next in his life and career.
The most unfortunate thing here? Sadly, there’s not really much in the way of noteworthy footage. This clip is meant mostly for comedic purposes, and to not give you an idea as to what is set to happen. (Then again, “Mad Men” has been notorious thus far for showing us pretty much close to nothing as to the plot of their show moving forward.)
Of course, we’ll have more specifics on both shows moving forward, so be sure to keep coming back to the page.
