MTV’s ‘Awkward’ season 3 spoilers: Notes on a (possible) pregnancy scare

Is someone expecting in the world of MTV’s “Awkward”? As you have seen in the preview footage for the new season, it looks as though there is a certain someone who was under suspicion of this very thing. However, there are some new wrinkles coming out now, and not everything in the world of Jenna Hamilton and her friends may be necessarily what you think.

According to a new report from Entertainment Weekly, there is going to be a story coming up about someone who starts to fear that they are in fact pregnant … but it is not going to be the same character that you see getting some glances in their direction. Don’t you always love a good fake-out?

This show is all about crazy twists and turns, as you saw plenty of this last year with the storyline involving Jake, Jenna, and Matty. While most details about season 3 are still under wraps, we know that there will be more of the same mixed in here as Jenna starts to question whether or not she is as committed to her relationship as she should be. Plus, the dynamics of school will change courtesy of some new faces, whether they be teachers (including one played by Anthony Michael Hall) or students.

Let’s just hope that this and all the storylines coming up on “Awkward” are worth the wait, and that the show finds a way to continue receiving the same sort of high praise that we saw for much of last season.
