‘Game of Thrones’ season 3 spoilers: Words from Margaery Tyrell

Are you ready for “Game of Thrones” season 3 to begin? You’re certainly not alone in that. HBO’s longtime success story is coming back on the air now in just a matter of days, and we have some more words courtesy of someone who has quickly seen their role of Margaery Tyrell rise to the forefront: Natalie Dormer.

So what does she have to say about the action ahead? Speaking as a part of a new interview with E! News, here is what the actress had to say about the storyline that is now coming up ahead:

“[It’s] the season of the rise and fall; reversal of fortunes. The people who start off with nothing suddenly get dealt an incredible hand and powers shift considerably and vice versa. There are some really traumatic losses within the show.”

We already know that Margaery is certainly going to have a much more prominent role this time around than she has had in years past. After all, she has seemingly convinced Joffrey to be with her over Sansa Stark, so she now has herself in a position of great power in the city of King’s Landing. Of course, there are still some questions that come with that, including whether or not she is really going to be able to handle anything and everything that Joffrey throws at her (and he can choose at any given moment to be incredibly nasty).

Ultimately, Tyrell is just one piece of a very complicated puzzle that is this season. The throne will be threatened by the likes of Stannis yet again, factions to the north, and even a few threats that the Lannisters may not see coming.
