‘Justified’ season 4, episode 12 spoilers: Boyd vs Johnny, who will survive?
We initially thought that Drew Thompson’s capture was going to be the season finale of “Justified” season 4, but the masterminds behind the show pulled a fast one on us and dealt with the capture of Drew Thompson in the last episode. There are still some pretty big story lines left to tie up this season, and with only two episodes left, we expect them to completely jam packed with some pretty tense situations – especially for Boyd and Ava Crowder.
On last week’s episode of “Justified” season 4, Boyd was in a bit of hot water with Nicky after Drew Thompson got captured by the Marshall’s, but he still thought there was an opportunity to get Drew back for Nicky and get his big pay day. When Boyd’s plans fell to pieces he was left without Drew Thompson, completely broke and with Nicky and Theo after him yet again for dropping the ball on his delivery. Also Ava found out that Johnny had completely betrayed them, so outside of Colton (who has redeemed himself to Boyd) she and Boyd are really on their own.
In a preview for this week’s episode of “Justified” season 4, Boyd will learn about Johnny’s betrayal of him and that he put Ava in some serious danger (including pointing a gun at her himself), so we foresee a pretty big show down between Boyd and Johnny at some point before the season is out. Also the Ellen May story line is going to be pushed forward in the next episode – what does Limehouse plan to do with her if Ava and Boyd don’t come back with the money to buy her? After Ava left Ellen May at Limeshouse’s place, will she continue to be loyal to her or will she tell people what Ava did? It looks like Ava and Boyd are going to hatch some sort of a plan to get Ellen May back, but it’s unclear if it’s to kill her or keep her safe. And if you thought that Drew Thompson was gone, think again. He will be just as worried about Ellen May as Boyd and Ava are, so we suspect the main focus of this episode will be on Limehouse.
The next new episode of “Justified” season 4 airs on Tuesday, March 26th at 10 p.m. on FX, so be sure to tune in and see what Boyd and Ava have planned for Ellen May.
