NBC’s ‘Community’ season 4 spoilers: Is this the strangest Dean Pelton get-up yet?

DeanWe have learned to see some pretty strange outfits from Dean Pelton on “Community” over the years, but at least with most of them, he at least manages to stay in full color.

The photo to the left comes to us from the upcoming seventh episode of the season entitled “History of Dance,” and it almost feels as though Jim Rash’s character is trying his absolute best to project some sort of image from an old 1950s sitcome of a stereotypical housewife. What is he trying to say? We don’t quite know that yet, but we’re sure that it will find a way to defend Britta.

As a matter of fact, we already know a little bit about how this episode will be a showcase for Gillian Jacobs’ character. She comes up with a pretty great idea to fire back at a Greendale school dance during the episode, which is a nice reminder of the rebellious nature that we saw from her during early seasons on the show. However, she ends up finding a way to “Britta” her own plans and make it into a disaster, which is a little bit more in line with the Britta from the last two seasons.

This episode is the seventh of the show’s shortened fourth season, and it marks ultimately the halfway point of the thirteen episodes ordered by NBC. While the first few episodes were a shell of what “Community” once was back when Dan Harmon served as the showrunner, it has since improved and found a way to become a little bit closer to the show that we once loved.

What do you think about this new look from the Dean, and does this gag really even work for you anymore? If you want to read some more about what Britta ends up doing during this episode, you can do so over at the link here.
