‘The Walking Dead’ season 3, episode 14 review: Do you feel for Andrea now?
Now that Sunday night’s new episode of “The Walking Dead” is over, there are only two more left for season 3. So are we in line for a pretty explosive conclusion based on what happened this week? It certainly seems like it. There was clearly some major developments throughout the hour, including some that frankly have us wanting to cover our eyes.
As if we already did not know that The Governor is a very evil man, just look at the torture chamber that he had more or less devised this week. We don’t even want to think about what sort of fate awaits her now, but this has to be the most devastated character through the entire second half of this season right now. Much of this episode felt like “The Great Escape” with zombies, and seeing the way in which these two characters fought and battled was so interesting that we didn’t really mind not seeing much of the prison at all.
As for the rest of the episode, there were really two other plots that were interesting to see:
1. Learning more about Tyreese – We haven’t known him for quite so long, so seeing so much of him this episode was a nice twist. He’s got a different role than he did in the comics, but an important one nonetheless.
2. Milton’s dilemma – He knows Woodbury and feels in many ways that it is home, but at the same time he is certainly well aware that there are some very terrible things going on there. Doesn’t it make sense that we would want to leave? Definitely, and now he just has to find the power to do so.
